Director of Pharmacovigilance & Product Safety

About the role

Blackmores Group, Australia’s leading natural health products manufacturer, is seeking a Director of Pharmacovigilance & Product Safety. Reporting to the GM Quality, Pharmacovigilance & Medical, you will lead the PV team and the Product Quality Complaints team, driving safety, compliance and continuous improvement across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach and mentor a team of approximately 7 staff, including two team leaders.
• Implement and ensure compliance of the Pharmacovigilance program and product safety assessments across the group.
• Deliver PV training to the broader business and targeted teams.
• Identify and execute continuous improvement opportunities and champion change management.
• Communicate how PV and product safety programs protect patients, brand reputation and minimise business risk.

Required profile

• Registered pharmacist with extensive industry experience.
• Proven leadership of a Pharmacovigilance or Medical Affairs function.
• Experience in signal detection and exposure to product quality complaints.
• Strong business acumen, self‑starter attitude and ability to prioritise workload.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to coach and mentor staff.
