About the role

The Royal Sydney Golf Club, established in 1893, is one of Australia's most prestigious private members' clubs, overlooking Rose Bay. Reporting to the CEO and contributing actively to the Executive Team, the Director of Hospitality leads the entire Clubhouse offering, from the Dining Room and Club Bar to the cafés, kitchen, housekeeping and reception. The role is a strategic leadership position that sets the standard for how members and guests are welcomed, served and cared for.

Key responsibilities

• Set the vision for the Clubhouse offering, from dining concepts and menus to the wine program
• Lead a large team including the Head of Food & Beverage, Executive Chef and Clubhouse Operations Manager
• Take full ownership of Clubhouse performance, balancing value for members with long-term sustainability
• Partner with Sub-Committees and the Executive team to shape the future of the Clubhouse

Required profile

• Senior hospitality leadership experience in a private members' club, luxury hotel or multi-outlet venue
• An authentic, approachable, values-led leadership style that earns the trust of members, committees and staff

Required skills

• Strong commercial acumen
• RSA, food safety and WHS compliance
