About the role

Kimpton Mayfair Adelaide is transforming into a new boutique lifestyle hotel in 2027. The Director of Food & Beverage will lead the vision, strategy and performance of all food and beverage outlets, creating memorable experiences that reflect the brand’s personality and South Australian culture.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the overall F&B strategy across restaurants, bars, events and culinary experiences, ensuring each venue has a distinctive identity.
• Lead, coach and develop a high‑performing F&B team, fostering an inclusive culture focused on service excellence and creativity.
• Manage budgets, forecasts and business plans to drive revenue, profitability and sustainable growth while controlling food, beverage and labour costs.
• Partner with culinary, sales, revenue and marketing teams to maximise performance and position the venues as vibrant destinations for guests and locals.
• Ensure consistent high standards of service, quality, safety, compliance and responsible business practices, championing sustainable operations.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading Food & Beverage operations in a luxury hotel, lifestyle brand or comparable hospitality environment.
• Strong commercial acumen with a track record of delivering revenue, profitability and operational performance across multiple outlets.
• Inspiring leadership skills with a passion for developing, engaging and retaining high‑performing teams.
