Director – Investments (Consumer Energy Focus)

About the role

We are seeking a Director of Investments to lead the investment function for a consumer‑energy and renewable infrastructure platform based in Sydney. The role will drive the origination, structuring, execution and ongoing management of programmes that enable households to access low‑cost financing for solar, batteries, electrification, insulation and EV charging solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end investment activity across origination, structuring, execution and portfolio management.
• Evaluate new consumer‑energy programmes and partnership opportunities.
• Conduct financial analysis, modelling, valuation and due‑diligence for each investment.
• Collaborate with finance providers, suppliers and co‑investors to structure and close transactions.
• Provide ongoing oversight and governance of the investment portfolio.

Required profile

• 9–15 years of experience in infrastructure investment, project finance, M&A or energy‑focused principal investment roles.
• Strong technical capability in financial modelling, valuation and transaction execution.
• Demonstrated exposure to consumer energy, distributed energy or related energy‑transition sectors.
• Excellent commercial judgement and stakeholder‑management skills.
