About the role
Lead strategic investment attraction, business development and market engagement initiatives to increase defence and defence industry presence, capability and activity in the Northern Territory.
Key responsibilities
- Design and implement strategic campaigns and projects that attract defence, allied military and defence industry investment.
- Develop and maintain influential relationships with senior representatives from Defence, Commonwealth agencies, allies, partners, industry and the Northern Territory Government.
- Advance DefenceNT priorities and drive economic development outcomes through investment and capability growth.
Required profile
- Proven experience leading successful investment attraction campaigns.
- Strong knowledge of defence and defence industry sectors.
- Understanding of the intersection between defence investment and industry capability.
- Excellent leadership, oral and written communication skills.
