APAC Information Security Operations Lead

About the role

Optiver is seeking a hands‑on APAC Information Security Operations Lead to guide a high‑performing team of security engineers and analysts. Reporting to the Global Head of Information Security, you will shape the regional security operations roadmap and ensure alignment with global objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Build, lead, and develop a high‑performance security engineering and analyst team, managing performance and career growth.
• Oversee day‑to‑day security operations, ensuring efficient triage, investigation, escalation and resolution of security events.
• Continuously refine operational processes, partnering with global security teams on standards, tooling and automation.
• Lead the team during high‑severity incidents, coordinating across engineering, business and global stakeholders.
• Identify automation opportunities with Python or PowerShell to reduce toil and improve detection and response.
• Act as the primary APAC contact for operational security topics and build strong stakeholder partnerships.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading or mentoring security engineers, SOC analysts, incident responders or security operations teams.
• Broad experience with EDR, SIEM, vulnerability management, identity security and cloud security tooling.
• Experience defining and maturing operational processes such as alerting, triage, incident response playbooks and escalation workflows.
• Demonstrated ability to coordinate incident response across cross‑functional teams in fast‑paced environments.
• Champion of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
