Direct Marketing Assistant

About the role

Lega Nova is seeking a motivated Direct Marketing Assistant to join our Central Sydney team. You will support nationally recognised charity and not‑for‑profit campaigns, engaging the public at events and promotional sites to raise awareness and build lasting supporter relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Represent charity and not‑for‑profit campaigns at face‑to‑face events.
• Engage with the public, explaining cause‑related information and encouraging involvement.
• Develop positive relationships with supporters through professional communication.
• Collaborate with experienced mentors to enhance sales, communication and leadership abilities.
• Contribute to a collaborative, energetic team culture.

Required profile

• Positive attitude with a willingness to learn.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Confidence working with diverse groups of people.
• Self‑motivated and proactive.
• Previous experience in customer service, retail, hospitality, sales or events is beneficial but not essential.
