Diploma Qualified Educator – Early Learning Centre

About the role

Working collaboratively with the Lead Educator and Educational Leader, you will help plan, implement and evaluate educational programs aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework, National Quality Framework and National Quality Standard. In the absence of the Lead Educator, you will confidently provide leadership to the room team to ensure continuity of high‑quality education and care.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and assess curriculum and activities that meet EYLF, NQF and NQS standards.
• Lead the room team when the Lead Educator is unavailable, maintaining consistent quality of care.

Required profile

• Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent ACECQA‑approved qualification) – currently studying is acceptable.
• Current Paid ACT Working With Vulnerable People (WWVP) card or willingness to obtain before start.
• Food Safety, First Aid/CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis certificates or willingness to obtain.
• Completion of mandatory internal training and Geccko child‑safety courses (foundations and advanced) or willingness to obtain.
• ACT Government Keeping Children and Young People Safe training or willingness to obtain.
