Detective Consultant – Remote Contract (up to $1700/hr)

About the role
Mercor is seeking experienced private detectives and investigators to contribute to cutting‑edge AI research on a fully remote, short‑term basis. You will work independently, delivering expert analyses and solutions that help advance machine‑learning systems.
Key responsibilities
- Create deliverables for common requests within your professional domain.
- Review and improve peer‑developed deliverables to support AI research.
- Diagnose and solve real‑world issues in your field to enhance machine‑learning models.
- Work asynchronously, meeting deadlines while managing 20–40 hours per week.
Required profile
- Minimum 4 years of professional experience as a private detective, investigator, or in a closely related field.
- Excellent written communication with strong grammar and spelling.
- Immediate availability for a 3–4‑week engagement.

- Hourly compensation ranging from $1,500 to $1,700.
