Deputy Service Manager (RN) – Aged Care Leadership

About the role

The Deputy Service Manager (RN) will lead service delivery at Uniting Wesley Heights, a 97‑bed aged‑care facility in Manly. Reporting to senior management, you will champion continuous improvement, uphold accreditation standards, and ensure residents receive person‑centred care.

Key responsibilities

• Drive continuous improvement of services in line with accreditation standards.
• Develop and mentor the care team to meet the unique needs of each resident.
• Allocate work based on staff skills and abilities.
• Advocate for residents and families to support choice and independence.
• Interpret audit data, identify trends, and implement improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Experience in aged or community care, or extensive experience in social services, management or human services.
• Strong understanding of current changes in the aged‑care sector.
• Extensive knowledge of AN‑NACC standards.
• Current AHPRA registration.
