Dentist / Therapist - Newcastle

About the role

A well-established dental center in the Newcastle area is looking for an experienced Dentist to join its team. The practice has strong patient demand and needs more Dentists to support the existing patient flow, offering a busy environment with room to build a productive patient book. The schedule is Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

Key responsibilities

• Provide a broad range of general dental treatments, including comprehensive examinations and preventive care
• Perform composite fillings and restorative dentistry, crowns and bridges, root canal therapy and routine extractions
• Deliver periodontal treatment, emergency dental care and general family dentistry
• Build a consistent patient book through long-term patient relationships

Required profile

• At least 1 year of Dentist experience
• Current unrestricted AHPRA registration
• Availability across Monday, Wednesday and Friday
• Relocation assistance is not available

Required skills

• Strong general dentistry capabilities
• Confident diagnosis and treatment planning
• Comfortable with restorative and preventive dentistry
• Excellent communication and patient management skills
• Commitment to high-quality, patient-centred care
