Demi Chef - French Fine Dining

About the role

Sofitel Adelaide is hiring a Demi Chef for its Garçon Bleu restaurant. You will work closely with the Sous Chef and Chef de Partie to prepare and deliver high-quality, French-inspired dishes with precision and flair, contributing to a collaborative kitchen environment and supporting the smooth day-to-day operation of your section.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver high-quality, French-inspired dishes with precision and flair
• Maintain exceptional food quality and presentation
• Support the smooth day-to-day operation of your section
• Work under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen environment

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years' previous experience in a similar role within high-end dining operations
• Able to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• A true passion for food and for creating memorable guest experiences
• Full Australian working rights; only applicants currently located in Australia will be considered

Required skills

• Certificate in Commercial Cookery Level French
• Fine dining experience is an advantage
