Data/Analytics Engineer

About the role

Gallagher Bassett's My Plan Manager, a subsidiary focused on helping Australians get the most out of their NDIS plans, is hiring a Data/Analytics Engineer for its Technology team in Adelaide. The role builds scalable data solutions, optimises modern analytics platforms and enables data-driven decisions in a collaborative environment.

Key responsibilities

• Administer, maintain and optimise the data and analytics platforms so they stay robust, scalable and fit for purpose
• Support and enhance cloud-based analytics environments, including Snowflake and associated data technologies
• Design, develop and maintain data pipelines, data models and analytics solutions that support business objectives
• Work with stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver fit-for-purpose solutions
• Maintain data integrity, security, governance and quality standards
• Support reporting, visualisation and advanced analytics initiatives
• Monitor platform performance, troubleshoot issues and implement continuous improvements
• Contribute to data governance practices, standards and documentation, and work within Agile delivery frameworks

Required profile

• Tertiary qualification in Information Technology, Data Analytics, Computer Science or a related discipline
• Demonstrated experience as a Data Engineer, Analytics Engineer or in a similar data-focused role
• Experience with enterprise data platforms and cloud-based analytics environments, including Snowflake
• Experience developing and supporting data pipelines, reporting solutions and analytics environments
• Experience in Agile and Scrum delivery environments
