Data Migration Specialist for Microsoft 365 Migration

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Microsoft 365 Migration Specialist to lead a large‑scale migration of on‑premises file servers to Microsoft 365. The role involves planning, coordinating and executing migration waves while ensuring data integrity, security and minimal disruption.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and execute data migration activities, including pre‑migration assessments and post‑migration validation.
• Configure and operate enterprise migration tools such as ShareGate or SharePoint Migration Manager.
• Develop PowerShell scripts and use Microsoft Graph/APIs to automate migration tasks.
• Monitor progress, produce reports and dashboards, and manage permissions mapping across NTFS, SharePoint and Microsoft 365.

Required profile

• Strong hands‑on experience with enterprise migration tools (ShareGate, SharePoint Migration Manager or equivalents).
• Proven track record delivering large‑scale Microsoft 365 migrations with substantial data volumes.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a hybrid environment and collaborate with technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
