Customer Service Representative

About the role

ARC Metalcentre, a regional steel partner of InfraBuild, is hiring a Customer Service Representative for its Tamworth site. Reporting to the Branch Manager, this is a hands-on, customer-facing role where you are the first point of contact for trade and industrial customers, helping them find the right products, place orders and get solutions that keep their businesses moving. It is a permanent full-time position, Monday to Friday, 7:30am to 4:00pm.

Key responsibilities

• Serve trade and industrial customers at the front counter and over the phone
• Process orders and follow up on deliveries to ensure customer satisfaction
• Manage stock levels
• Handle customer enquiries and give tailored product advice
• Build strong relationships with regular trade customers
• Support general admin and sales tasks as needed

Required profile

• Experience in customer service and/or sales administration
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport
• Experience in steel, construction, trade counter or other heavy industry is highly regarded
• Experience in estimating and drafting in a similar industry is also highly regarded

Required skills

• Microsoft Office and SAP system experience highly regarded
