Customer Service Officer

About the role

Hamer Offroad, a leading 4x4 accessories brand, is looking for an organised and compassionate Customer Service Officer to join its head‑office team in Dandenong South. You will be the primary point of contact for customers across phone, email, web and in‑store channels, ensuring a seamless and professional experience.

Key responsibilities

• Process orders, handle inbound and outbound calls, emails, quotes and web enquiries.
• Enter and track all customer inquiries across multiple channels daily.
• Follow up on quotes (3‑6 months) and coordinate parts with third‑party suppliers.
• Manage inventory tasks: stock identification, ordering, receipting and dispatch.
• Maintain showroom presentation, including product placement and signage.
• Oversee social media channels, responding to comments, reviews and customer queries.
• Handle customer grievances and escalations professionally.

Required profile

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Detail‑oriented with excellent numerical and analytical abilities.
• Highly organised, punctual and able to follow through on tasks.
• Experience in retail sales, call centre or customer service environments.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office applications.
• Familiarity with social media platforms for customer engagement.
