Customer Development Manager - SaaS Legal Technology

About the role

Actionstep, a global provider of cloud-based Legal Practice Management software, is looking for a Customer Development Manager to join its ANZ Sales team in Brisbane. You will manage a portfolio of existing law firm customers, helping them get more value from the Actionstep platform and driving Annual Recurring Revenue through cross-sell, upsell and solution expansion. Working with Customer Success, Product, Marketing and Partnerships, you will act as a trusted advisor to your customers.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of existing law firm customers across Australia and New Zealand
• Identify cross-sell, upsell and solution expansion opportunities
• Develop strategic account plans supporting customer growth and retention
• Build relationships with key decision-makers and conduct business reviews
• Partner with Customer Success, Marketing, Product and Partnerships
• Maintain the sales pipeline, forecasts and activity in Salesforce
• Capture customer feedback and share insights with Product and Marketing
• Build relationships with strategic partners and achieve quarterly revenue targets

Required profile

• Knowledge of the legal industry, including practice management software and accounting
• Proven track record of IT/SaaS sales, meeting and exceeding targets
• Experience using Salesforce CRM
• Desirable: formal sales training or certification (e.g. SPIN Selling, Challenger Sales)
• Desirable: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or a related field

• Strong technical aptitude and fluency in Actionstep's technology
• Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
• Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
