Credit Coach – Proprietary Home Lending

About the role

As a Credit Coach in ANZ’s Proprietary Home Lending division, you will elevate credit capability across the lending network. You will coach Specialist Lenders and Lending Area Managers, champion customer experience, and support the adoption of new tools and processes.

Key responsibilities

• Coach Lending Area Managers and Specialist Lenders to improve credit knowledge and decision‑making throughout the home‑buyer journey.
• Lead train‑the‑trainer programmes and facilitate workshops to resolve complex lending scenarios.
• Identify risk indicators, promote compliance with lending policies, and embed best‑practice to enhance deal quality.
• Provide data‑driven insights and performance metrics to Regional and Lending Area Managers.
• Analyse metrics and trends to continuously improve coaching effectiveness.
• Support change‑management initiatives and build leadership capability within lending teams.

Required profile

• Permanent, full‑time role based in Sydney or Melbourne, Australia.
• Experience in credit assessment, home lending, or related financial services.
• Strong communication and facilitation skills.
