Corporate & Commercial Lawyer (4+ PQE) – West Perth

About the role

Nova Legal is seeking a Senior Corporate & Commercial Lawyer with at least four years post‑admission experience to join its West Perth team. You will work closely with Directors and senior lawyers, taking ownership of sophisticated corporate and commercial matters.

Key responsibilities

• Lead equity capital markets transactions, including IPOs, RTOs and capital raisings.
• Manage mergers and acquisitions and private equity transactions.
• Provide corporate governance, advisory and general commercial transaction support.
• Deliver strategic advice to ASX‑listed and private clients in the resources and technology sectors.

Required profile

• Australian law degree and admission as an Australian lawyer.
• 4+ years post‑admission experience in corporate and commercial law, especially in schemes of arrangement, takeovers and ECM.
• Experience advising ASX‑listed companies with strong drafting, research and analytical abilities.
• Excellent communication, commercial judgement and ability to manage matters autonomously.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of equity capital markets, IPOs, RTOs and capital raising processes.
• Expertise in mergers and acquisitions, private equity and corporate governance.
