Cook - Coles Distribution Centre

About the role

Eurest, part of Compass Group Australia, is hiring a cook for its Coles Distribution Centre in Kemps Creek, NSW. This is a casual, full-time position on a Monday to Friday roster from 6am to 2pm, with a small friendly team. The pay is $27.98 plus 25% casual loading.

Key responsibilities

• Produce delicious culinary offerings and prepare and present mouth-watering dishes
• Maintain awareness of and present options for nutritionally healthy eating
• Respond positively and proactively to customer feedback
• Clean, record temperatures and record allergies

Required profile

• Able to use own initiative to help others and carry out extra tasks when required
• Talent and drive to work under pressure, unsupervised and to tight deadlines
• Must have their own transport, as there is no public transport nearby
• Willing to obtain a National Police Check

Required skills

• Excellent knowledge of all kitchen procedures and operations
• Understanding of WHS, food safety and HACCP regulations
