Cook - Aged Care

About the role

Estia Health is recruiting a Cook for its aged care facility in Flagstaff Hill. You will help create a home that residents love by delivering service standards of the highest level, using your skills and passion for fresh, wholesome meals.

Key responsibilities

• Work alongside the Chef to assist with kitchen management
• Tailor meals to meet individual needs and preferences
• Provide residents with healthy, nutritious and delicious meals
• Support the wider kitchen team to deliver a memorable dining experience

Required profile

• Certificate III in Commercial Cookery
• Some experience in a commercial kitchen (aged care experience highly regarded)
• A good range of experience with different cuisines and dietary requirements, responding to the social, spiritual and cultural needs of residents
• Great communication and documentation skills
