Contracts and Procurement Manager

About the role

ACCIONA is seeking an experienced Contracts and Procurement Manager to lead the contract administration and procurement function for the Alkimos Seawater Alliance, a $2.8 billion desalination project in Perth. Reporting to the Commercial Lead, you will guide a dedicated team, manage supplier and consultant agreements, and shape commercial strategy alongside the Project Management team.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and develop the contracts and procurement team.
• Oversee end‑to‑end contract administration and procurement processes.
• Identify, log and mitigate contract and supply‑chain risks.
• Drive monthly cost management, reporting and forecasting.
• Manage supplier, subcontractor and consultant agreements.
• Support resolution of commercial disputes and claims.
• Champion safety, compliance and continuous process improvement.

Required profile

• Degree in Commerce, Law, Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
• Proven experience leading contracts and procurement teams on major infrastructure or alliance projects.
• Strong knowledge of contract law and procurement processes.
• Commercial acumen with solid risk‑management capabilities.
