Contentful Developer – Fixed Term Contract

About the role

Dijitally is seeking a hands‑on Contentful specialist to join a major digital transformation project for a leading Australian fintech partner. This is a remote, fixed‑term contract (3‑4 months) focused on designing and implementing a scalable headless CMS solution.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement Contentful content models, spaces, and environments that meet business requirements.
• Build and maintain integrations between Contentful and frontend frameworks such as React, Next.js, or Vue, as well as backend services via REST or GraphQL APIs.
• Develop custom automation scripts for content type creation and migration using the Contentful App Framework and CMA/CDA SDKs.
• Collaborate with content strategists, designers, and engineers to define scalable content structures and optimise delivery performance.
• Support migration of legacy content into Contentful and ensure best practices for governance, webhooks, and CI/CD pipelines.

Required profile

• 3–5+ years of experience working with Contentful or a similar headless CMS in production.
• Strong JavaScript/TypeScript skills and familiarity with modern frontend frameworks.
• Experience with Contentful’s Content Management API, Content Delivery API, and GraphQL API.
• Understanding of API‑first and headless architecture principles.
