Content Producer, Alumni & Advancement

About the role

This newly created fixed‑term position supports the development and delivery of engaging content that strengthens relationships with donors, alumni and supporters while showcasing the impact of philanthropy at Flinders University.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and deliver content across digital and print channels, including websites, social media, EDMs, newsletters, publications and campaign materials.
• Write, edit and proof‑read content for diverse audiences such as alumni, donors and community partners.
• Produce multimedia assets including photography, video and digital graphics to support Alumni and Advancement initiatives.
• Maintain and update website content in line with brand, accessibility, UX/UI and SEO best practices.

Required profile

• Creative and versatile content specialist with strong storytelling ability.
• Experience creating content across multiple channels in a higher education, not‑for‑profit or similar environment.
• Highly organised, collaborative and able to manage competing priorities with attention to detail.

Required skills

• Adobe Photoshop, Acrobat and Canva proficiency.
• Experience with content management systems (preferably AEM) and email marketing platforms (preferably Campaign Monitor).
• Knowledge of SEO principles and digital accessibility standards.
• Photography and video production skills.
