Consultant – Operations & Transformation

About the role

Deloitte is looking for a Consultant to join its Operations & Transformation team in Canberra. You will work on high‑profile public‑sector projects, helping clients solve complex operational challenges and drive performance.

Key responsibilities

• Engage directly with government clients on priority operational issues.
• Collaborate with a high‑performing team to deliver value using Deloitte’s capabilities in problem solving, design thinking, digital and data analytics.
• Support the implementation of new regulatory requirements and technology advances.
• Participate in extensive training and on‑the‑job development focused on operations and transformation.

Required profile

• Experience in consulting or structured problem‑solving environments.
• Strong written and verbal communication with the ability to build client relationships.
• Facilitation and analytical skills, including desktop research and data synthesis.
• Proactive mindset, curiosity to learn, and a minimum AGSVA baseline clearance.
