About the role

Geraldton Hospital is seeking a Consultant Intensivist to join its multidisciplinary critical care team in a beautiful coastal region of Western Australia. This senior clinical position offers the chance to shape service development, provide clinical leadership, and deliver high‑quality intensive care to the local community.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver safe, evidence‑based intensive care to patients in the ICU.
• Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of critical care services.
• Provide clinical leadership within the multidisciplinary team.
• Participate in governance, quality‑improvement initiatives and research activities.

Required profile

• Hold Fellowship of the College of Intensive Care Medicine (FCICM) or an equivalent qualification.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Collaborative, personable working style with experience in multidisciplinary team settings.
• Demonstrated involvement in clinical governance and quality‑improvement projects.

What we offer

• Competitive salary package up to AUD 534,000 per year, inclusive of superannuation.
• Generous professional development allowance of AUD 33,000 per annum.
