Construction Supervisor – Residential High‑Rise Project

About the role

Stockwell Delivery is looking for an experienced Construction Supervisor to lead the on‑site team for a new 20‑storey residential development on Melbourne Street, South Brisbane. You will work closely with the Project Manager to ensure the project is delivered safely, on time and within budget.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and motivate the on‑site construction team and subcontractors.
• Collaborate with the Project Manager to deliver site works and maintain the construction program.
• Contribute to the development and regular updating of the construction schedule.
• Ensure works are completed in line with the market‑tested price, project budget, and Stockwell procurement policies.
• Maintain a safe working environment and enforce Stockwell Safety Policy.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing residential or mixed‑use multi‑level developments.
• Ability to prepare and implement short‑term programs, identify risks early and apply mitigation measures.
• Strong leadership skills with a focus on inclusive, motivated team management.
• Comprehensive knowledge of modern construction techniques, methodologies, procedures, products and services.
• Track record of effective subcontractor management and trade administration.
• Excellent understanding of contracts, drawings, specifications, schedules and the ability to communicate project information clearly.
• Capability to add value through design and value‑management opportunities.
• Enthusiastic, driven, strategic and passionate about current building and engineering practices.
