Construction Supervisor – Infrastructure Projects

About the role

Georgiou – a STRABAG Company is looking for an experienced Construction Supervisor to lead site‑based civil and defence infrastructure works in Darwin, Northern Territory. Reporting to the Project Manager, you will coordinate crews, subcontractors and resources to deliver projects safely, on time and to high quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor sections or packages of work to ensure delivery on schedule, within budget and to quality standards.
• Liaise with subcontractor supervisors and coordinate works in progress.
• Manage labour, plant, materials and subcontractors on a daily basis.
• Drive productivity and oversee performance of crews and subcontractors.
• Champion safety through the “Safety is My Way” initiative.
• Conduct and participate in site meetings, pre‑starts, toolbox talks and inductions.
• Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including clients and authorities.
• Provide leadership, guidance and mentorship to team members.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a civil construction supervisory role.
• Proven ability to deliver sections of work on time and within budget while maintaining quality.
• Strong leadership capability with experience managing large crews.
• Demonstrated experience coordinating resources across site operations.
• Effective planning and organisational skills.
