Community and Media Engagement Manager

About the role

UniSC Clinical Trials is seeking a Community and Media Engagement Manager to lead the development and growth of its digital communities and media presence. You will work closely with the marketing team to create engaging content and maintain strong stakeholder relationships, ensuring the organisation’s profile remains visible across traditional, digital and social channels.

Key responsibilities

• Build and manage online communities and social media channels to engage stakeholders and promote UniSC Clinical Trials activities.
• Develop and coordinate media content, including news releases, visual assets and campaign materials.
• Support staff and internal stakeholders in communicating effectively with media, community and industry partners.
• Collaborate with the Manager, Marketing & Brand and the wider communications team to produce engaging content.
• Monitor media coverage and respond to media enquiries in line with organisational guidelines.

Required profile

• Degree in journalism, communications, public relations, marketing or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience managing online communities and delivering digital engagement strategies.
• Strong writing, media liaison and content creation abilities.
• Excellent communication, organisational and stakeholder‑engagement skills.
• Ability to work proactively in a fast‑paced environment.

• Competitive salary ranging from $95,986 to $103,873 per annum.
