Communications Coordinator

About the role

The Office of the Deputy Vice‑Chancellor (Research and Enterprise) at Monash University is seeking a Communications Coordinator to provide professional administrative support and drive its communications agenda.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality communications content such as stories, video scripts and social media posts aligned with the research and enterprise agenda.
• Develop and implement communications plans across multiple channels.
• Coordinate the distribution of content and ensure consistent messaging.
• Support the promotion of events, campaigns and projects within the portfolio.
• Provide administrative services to facilitate the effective operation of the office.

Required profile

• Relevant degree or equivalent experience in communications, marketing, research or a related field.
• Demonstrated experience in professional communications within a university, research or marketing environment.
• Ability to work collaboratively and manage multiple priorities.

• Salary range $100,155 – $108,106 per annum (HEW Level 06) plus 17 % employer superannuation.
