Communications and Engagement Manager

About the role

Anglicare Sydney is looking for an experienced Communications and Engagement Manager to lead how its Seniors Communities communicates, engages and builds trusted relationships with residents, communities and stakeholders. Reporting to the General Manager, Sales and Marketing, the role spans strategic communications, internal communications, community engagement, reputation management and change, and works across an evolving Seniors Communities portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Lead integrated communications and engagement strategies across Seniors Communities
• Shape internal, executive, resident and customer communications
• Lead engagement supporting Development Application (DA) and State Significant Development Application (SSDA) projects
• Build relationships with residents, councils, community groups and key stakeholders
• Facilitate community forums and support communications during development and construction
• Lead content strategy and storytelling across digital, print, social and customer channels
• Provide expertise in change, reputation and crisis communications
• Lead, coach and develop a communications and engagement team

Required profile

• 8+ years' experience across communications, engagement, PR, content or brand
• Relevant tertiary qualification in Communications, Marketing, PR, Journalism or a related discipline
• Ideally experience in property, construction, DA or SSDA projects
• Preferred: experience in property, retirement living, healthcare, aged care or community sectors
