Communications Advisor – Social & Digital (12‑month contract)

About the role

The Communications Advisor – Social/Digital will join ASC’s Corporate Affairs team to lead the development and delivery of the organisation’s social and digital media strategy. Based at the Osborne site in South Australia, you will manage the digital content calendar, create engaging content and maintain ASC’s presence across social platforms and the website.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute ASC’s social and digital media strategy, including planning and managing the content calendar.
• Create and deliver high‑quality, engaging content for social media channels and the corporate website.
• Oversee day‑to‑day management of LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram and other platforms, including community engagement, moderation and audience growth.
• Partner with internal stakeholders to produce social and digital content for internal communications, recruitment and supply‑chain initiatives.
• Manage paid digital advertising campaigns such as Google Ads and social media ads, monitoring performance through analytics and reporting.
• Build strong relationships within the Corporate Affairs team and contribute to a collaborative, high‑performing environment.
• Monitor emerging social and digital trends and best practices to continuously improve ASC’s digital presence.

• Excellent writing, editing and content development abilities.
• Strong organisational skills with the capacity to manage competing priorities.
• Ability to engage diverse stakeholders and communicate complex information clearly.
