Commercial Manager – Infrastructure Projects

About the role

ACCIONA is seeking a Commercial Manager to lead commercial performance across its NSW portfolio of large‑scale infrastructure projects. Reporting to the Regional Commercial Director, you will protect the company’s commercial position while supporting the delivery of complex transport, water and renewable energy works.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute commercial strategy for the NSW project portfolio.
• Administer head contracts and sub‑contracts, ensuring compliance and risk mitigation.
• Manage cost control, budgeting and financial risk across multiple sites.
• Negotiate terms with clients, suppliers and subcontractors.
• Drive commercial governance, reporting standards and performance metrics.
• Mentor and develop members of the commercial team.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders.

Required profile

• Degree in quantity surveying, commerce, law or a related discipline.
• Extensive experience in a senior commercial role within the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of Australian construction contracts and D&C or PPP contract models.
• Proven ability to lead, influence and make decisions at senior level.
