Commercial Manager – Ground Handling

About the role
The Commercial Manager will lead dnata’s commercial programme for ground handling, overseeing new business and renewal proposals, sales pipeline, yield improvement and reporting. The role involves complex tendering, contract negotiations and managing client relationships to exceed expectations.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain and develop dnata’s sales pipeline for new business and renewals.
- Own the RFP and proposal submission process, creating customer‑focused proposals.
- Negotiate Ground Handling Agreements and Service Level Agreements, including rates and targets.
- Develop and manage commercial reporting, KPI tracking and account collections.
- Implement customer rate reviews and communicate changes to finance.
- Build strong relationships with customers, subcontractors and internal stakeholders.
Required profile
- Extensive experience in commercial management, preferably in ground handling or aviation.
- Fluent in Chinese and English.
- Proven track record in negotiation, stakeholder engagement and contract management.
- Strong reporting, compliance and strategic thinking abilities.
