Commercial & Contract Manager

About the role

KBR is seeking an experienced Commercial & Contract Manager to support the Factory Operations & Sustainment Directorate within the Guided Weapons and Explosive Ordnance Manufacturing Division. The role contributes to nationally significant defence capability outcomes while working in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide commercial, procurement and contract management support for defence programmes and strategic initiatives.
• Support planning and delivery of complex procurement activities, including strategies, tender documentation and governance.
• Manage ASDEFCON contracts, variations, performance monitoring and stakeholder engagement.
• Identify, assess and manage commercial and contractual risks and prepare governance documentation.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in the defence environment with a strong understanding of defence procurement and commercial management.
• Australian citizenship and current NV1 Defence Security Clearance (or higher).
• Proven ability to work autonomously, manage competing priorities and deliver outcomes within demanding timeframes.

Required skills

• Defence procurement processes and frameworks.
• Commercial contract administration, including variation and performance management.
• Analytical, written and verbal communication skills.
