Commercial Analyst – Procurement

About the role

The Anglo Steelmaking Coal Supply Chain team is looking for a Commercial Analyst to support end‑to‑end procurement and contract management across key service categories such as equipment hire, facilities management and MRO.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage tender processes from scope development through to contract award.
• Source, review and benchmark supplier quotes, negotiate rates and commercial terms.
• Draft and prepare contracts using templates, obtain approvals and execute them in line with governance.
• Conduct post‑award contract management, including amendments, rate reviews and supplier benchmarking.
• Track commercial KPI dashboards and address issues proactively.

Required profile

• Experience in tendering and tactical procurement, preferably in mining or related industry.
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
• Strong written communication for contract documentation.
• Current Australian driver’s licence.
