Commercial Administrator

About the role

Coliban Water is driving a transformational program to secure safe drinking water and wastewater services for regional and rural communities. The Commercial Administrator will provide agile support across the full contract lifecycle, ensuring contracts are well‑governed, compliant and deliver value for money.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate contract records, registers and supporting documentation throughout the contract lifecycle.
• Monitor key dates, milestones and obligations to enable proactive contract management.
• Prepare and quality‑check commercial documents such as agreements, variations, scopes and procurement artefacts.
• Ensure contract activities comply with organisational policy, procurement frameworks and financial delegations, escalating non‑compliance where needed.
• Analyse contract, supplier and financial data to identify trends, risks and improvement opportunities.
• Produce concise reports, dashboards and insights to support commercial decision‑making.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to foster high‑quality commercial relationships.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience in contract administration, governance and compliance.
