Commercial Account Manager – Insurance Brokerage

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Account Manager to join a well‑established insurance brokerage in Sydney CBD. The successful candidate will inherit an existing portfolio of commercial clients across NSW and the East Coast and focus on deepening relationships while driving new business growth.

Key responsibilities

• Take ownership of a well‑established portfolio of commercial clients and manage a diverse book across multiple industries and policy lines.
• Develop new business opportunities through referrals, networking, and market engagement.
• Meet with clients and prospects to understand their insurance needs and deliver tailored risk solutions.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with insurers, key stakeholders, and internal broking/support teams.
• Contribute to the continued growth of the NSW and Eastern Region.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Commercial Account Manager, Account Executive or Senior Broker.
• Strong technical knowledge of commercial insurance products; experience in the technology sector is a plus.
• Proven ability to manage mid‑market or corporate clients and identify growth opportunities.
• Confident networker with excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
• Tier 1 Insurance Broking qualification (or equivalent).
