About the role
Whitehaven Coal, an ASX-listed Australian coal producer operating four mines in NSW and Queensland including Blackwater, is recruiting an operator for its Blackwater Mine. The operator reports to the Coal Team Coordinators and maintains haul roads, intersections, ramps and access areas in line with site safety management system requirements.
Required profile
- Strong commitment to safety and environmental standards
- Team-focused and proactive approach
- High standards of equipment care and housekeeping
- Compliance with mine procedures, SOPs and SWIs
- Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic
Required skills
- Experience operating tracked dozers, hydraulic excavators, graders, wheel loaders, wheeled dozers and medium and light vehicles is highly desirable
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment is highly desirable
