Cloud Infrastructure Lead

About the role

Latitude Financial Services, a consumer finance provider in Australia and New Zealand, is running a major transformation program across its core IT platforms, including a strong Agile/DevOps foundation. It is seeking a Cloud Infrastructure Lead to lead the development of blueprints and automate environment builds and deployments, and to deliver and manage all environments needed for the program. The role works closely with architects, developers, enterprise data and transformation teams, as well as third-party partners.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the development of blueprints for cloud-based infrastructure and platform services.
• Automate environment builds and deployments.
• Deliver and manage all environments required for the transformation program.
• Collaborate with architecture, development, enterprise data and transformation teams and partners to drive an optimal DevOps outcome.

Required profile

• At least 10 years of IT experience in a development, operational or DevOps role, with at least 3 years of cloud systems administration.
• A relevant tertiary qualification.
• Demonstrable experience with cloud service providers (preferably AWS, Azure) and multi-tier production applications running on them.
• Experience on large, complex transformation programs using Agile delivery methods.
• Permanent resident of Australia or Australian or New Zealand citizen; a background check is required before starting.

• Strong advocacy of DevOps principles and ability to explain complex technical information to stakeholders.
• Technical leadership and soft skills to guide and manage a team under pressure.
