Clinical Pharmacist – Registered (Full‑time, North Canberra Hospital)

About the role

We are seeking a registered pharmacist to join the North Canberra Hospital pharmacy team. This full‑time, permanent position is ideal for recent interns or pharmacists transitioning to a hospital environment and offers a supportive, collegiate culture.

Key responsibilities

• Provide medication management and clinical pharmacy services to in‑patients across the hospital.
• Participate in the Foundation Residency Training program and contribute to multidisciplinary care teams.
• Utilise the hospital’s digital health record system for prescribing, dispensing and documentation.
• Engage in on‑call and weekend duties as part of the pharmacy roster.
• Support professional development activities, research, education and mentoring of junior staff.

Required profile

• Registered pharmacist (Pharmacy level 1) with a current practising licence.
• Recent completion of an intern training program or equivalent experience suitable for a hospital setting.
• Willingness to undergo a national police check, occupational health screening and vaccination compliance.
• Commitment to continuous learning and competency‑based progression.

Required skills

• Proficiency with a digital health record system for pharmacy operations.
