Clinical Pharmacist (Grade 1/2) – Rotational Role

About the role

The South Eastern Sydney Local Health District (SESLHD) is seeking a Clinical Pharmacist at Grade 1 or 2 for a temporary full‑time position until January 2027. The role is based primarily at Prince of Wales Hospital and the Royal Hospital for Women and will rotate through clinical, operational (dispensary) and production teams.

Key responsibilities

• Provide clinical pharmacy services across SESLHD to optimise safe and appropriate medication use.
• Participate in a seven‑day roster that includes flexible hours, on‑call, after‑hours, weekends and public holidays.
• Rotate through clinical wards, dispensary operations and medication production areas.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure evidence‑based medication therapy.
• Maintain accurate medication records and support medication safety initiatives.

Required profile

• Pharmacy degree with eligibility for full registration (candidates awaiting registration considered if evidence is provided before start).
• Willingness to work a flexible, extended‑hours roster.
• Commitment to patient safety and high‑quality pharmacy practice.
