Clinical Nurse Educator – Part‑time Fixed‑term

About the role

Southern Cross Care WA is seeking a Clinical Nurse Educator to join its Learning & Development team on a part‑time fixed‑term basis (7 days per fortnight). You will deliver clinical and general training across residential aged care, community mental health, community options, and home care services, ensuring compliance with accreditation standards and promoting evidence‑based practice.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver inductions, workshops, and interactive training sessions both face‑to‑face and online.
• Monitor training compliance, liaise with managers, and develop practical solutions to close learning gaps.
• Collaborate with another CNE to maintain consistent, high‑quality training programs and adapt them as needs evolve.
• Travel to regional sites periodically to provide hands‑on training and on‑site support.

Required profile

• Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration.
• Experience in aged care, disability, or community care settings.
• Proven ability to design and deliver engaging training programs.
• Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (or working towards it).
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Organised, adaptable, and able to manage competing priorities.
