Clinic Lead Veterinarian

About the role

Lead the clinical team at a well‑established small animal practice, providing hands‑on veterinary care while mentoring veterinarians and nurses.

Key responsibilities

• Guide clinical standards and support team development in collaboration with management.
• Deliver a varied medical and surgical caseload, including preventative care, dentistry, surgery and emergencies.
• Mentor and coach veterinarians and nurses, fostering a positive, collaborative culture.

Required profile

• 5+ years experience in companion animal practice.
• Strong medical and surgical capabilities with sound clinical judgement.
• Passion for mentoring, coaching and developing veterinary staff.

Required skills

• Experience with digital and dental radiography, ultrasound and in‑house IDEXX labs.
• Proficiency in advanced anaesthetic monitoring equipment.

What we offer

• Full‑time 4‑day week with no on‑call duties (optional roster available).
