Client Service Specialist

About the role

Marsh is looking for a Client Service Specialist to join its Client Operations team, based in the Sydney or Melbourne office. It is an entry-level hybrid role with a minimum of three days per week in the office, supported by online learning modules, systems support from the Operations team and 1:1 on-the-job learning.

Key responsibilities

• Support colleagues and clients in administration and technical support through accurate, efficient and timely production of policy and related documentation across the insurance life cycle.
• Help drive standardization of processes and procedures, including providing legally compliant work to the client and entering accurate data into Marsh IT applications so analytical statistics can be delivered.
• Assist in upskilling non-client-facing operations colleagues with additional product and client knowledge.
• Ensure timely and accurate production and processing of complex documents and information, including report preparation.
• Maintain a basic understanding of the core aspects of relevant insurance and related legislation and strengthen established relationships.
• Adhere to company policies and performance standards, and contribute to the Operations team's SLAs, KPIs and business objectives.

Required profile

• High School Certificate or equivalent.
• Ideally experience in a similar broking or operational role, preferably in an insurance-related field.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to learn new systems quickly.
• Analytical and negotiation skills, with strong written and verbal communication.
• Ability to work under pressure, manage time effectively and meet deadlines.
• Self-motivated, able to work autonomously and as part of a team.
