Claims Processing Consultant

About the role

Bupa is growing its Health Insurance team in Adelaide and is hiring a Claims Processing Consultant for its Claims team. This is a permanent position on a full-time basis. You will help customers and providers navigate the claims process so that claims are assessed accurately and resolved efficiently. Training and support are provided, whether you have experience in claims, customer service, healthcare or administration.

Key responsibilities

• Assess and process health insurance claims
• Manage complex and exception claims
• Respond to customer and provider enquiries
• Work across multiple systems and applications
• Investigate issues and identify solutions
• Build strong relationships with customers, providers and internal stakeholders
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and customer outcomes
• Work within relevant policies, procedures and regulatory requirements

Required profile

• Ideally experience in customer service, administration, claims or a similar environment
• Customer-focused, detail-oriented and eager to learn
• Experience in health insurance, healthcare, claims or contact centre environments is highly regarded but not essential
