Civil Plant Operators – Excavator, HR Driver & Roller Operator

About the role

Silverstrand is looking for experienced civil plant operators to join a growing team across multiple sites in Southeast Queensland. The role covers excavator, heavy‑rigid (HR) driver and roller operations on a variety of civil construction projects.

Key responsibilities

• Operate excavators for trenching, back‑filling, GPS‑guided final trim and bulk earthworks.
• Drive HR trucks for tipper work, watercart duties and general haulage.
• Run rollers and assist with labour tasks on road and infrastructure works.
• Read and interpret plans, rig and secure loads, and perform general labour as required.
• Maintain compliance with site safety and environmental standards.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years proven experience operating excavators on civil construction sites.
• Valid RII ticket and Construction Induction White Card.
• Reliable, able to work with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
• Strong safety focus and good communication skills.
