Civil Maintenance Worker

About the role

The City of Perth is seeking a Civil Maintenance Worker to join its Infrastructure and Operations team. You will help maintain roads, footpaths, drainage systems, cycleways and other public infrastructure across the city, ensuring safety and quality for residents and visitors.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out maintenance and repair works on roads, footpaths, drainage infrastructure, cycleways and retaining walls.
• Perform paving, kerbing, concreting and other civil construction activities to a high standard.
• Operate and maintain a range of plant, machinery, equipment and hand tools safely.
• Install and maintain traffic management signage and barriers while delivering excellent customer service.

Required profile

• Experience operating plant and equipment in a civil construction or maintenance environment.
• Practical knowledge of road construction, drainage, paving, concreting or kerbing works.
• Strong commitment to workplace health and safety practices.
• Current MR Driver's Licence and a valid Construction Induction (White) Card.
