Civil Drafter/Designer (12d Model & AutoCAD)

About the role

DRW Consulting is looking for an experienced Civil Drafter/Designer to join its growing team in Springwood, QLD. This full‑time, on‑site position focuses on civil design and drafting for a variety of land‑development projects, including subdivisions, roadworks, stormwater, and earthworks.

Key responsibilities

• Create detailed civil drawings and models using 12d Model and AutoCAD.
• Collaborate closely with engineers and project managers to deliver high‑quality outcomes.
• Ensure designs comply with Australian standards and local development requirements.
• Manage project timelines and documentation independently.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in civil drafting or design.
• Strong knowledge of road design, stormwater management, earthworks, and subdivision layouts.
• Good understanding of Australian standards and local development regulations.
• Excellent communication, time‑management, and attention‑to‑detail.
