Civil Construction Professional – Mackay

About the role

BMD is seeking experienced civil construction professionals to join its growing team in Mackay, North Queensland. You will work on a variety of site‑based projects, including residential subdivisions, industrial developments, road upgrades and other civil infrastructure works.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the delivery of subdivision and road construction projects valued between $1 million and $20 million.
• Collaborate with experienced tradespeople and engineers to ensure quality and safety standards are met.
• Perform on‑site tasks such as earthworks, road base placement, drainage installation and concrete works.
• Support project documentation, reporting and compliance activities.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years recent experience in civil construction, preferably on subdivision or road projects.
• Proven track record of delivering projects safely, on time and to quality standards.
• Strong commitment to safety, compliance and quality outcomes.
• Positive attitude, reliable work ethic and ability to work effectively within a team.

Required skills

• Valid Construction White Card.
